I’m writing this 1 week before the Berlin meeting and happy to report that we have broken all metrics for this meeting with the highest in-person attendance at 800 so far (highest prior record was 2014 in Chicago with 764 in-person attendees) and we have the highest all-in attendees including virtual with 877 (highest prior record was Denver last year with 792 total)! We should continue to see these numbers climb as we approach the date, so don’t miss this meeting, either virtual or in person! Here are the top 10 reasons to attend:
- Best scientific program to date. With 227 abstracts compared with only an average of 120 submitted per year, I was able to pick the best of the best! You will see a brand-new roster of speakers, not the same old names.
- Completely new format. The short “focused sessions” are gone and replaced with incredible “Masterclasses”, which delve deeply into a subject matter from a true Master using extensive video and discussion, with two options daily to choose from. One of the highlights will be the gigasession FUE session by Fachini and Zarev.
- Video Intensive Sessions with Live Debate. New short- and long-format video sessions will dominate the daily schedule and be layered with lively debate and discussion. These will be interspersed between the scientific program to keep it going strong.
- Focus on an advanced program. No matter what level you are, this program will cater to the highest level and trickle down to the beginner. There will be no basic information on how to draw a hairline or how to make basic recipient sites. If you need that information, please attend the Basics Course on Wednesday, October 22.
- Live AI translation into 60 languages so that if your English is not the best, don’t fear. You will understand the meeting. This will be a first ever for a major hair meeting if not for most meetings out there. That’s one of the many reasons you need to attend in person!
- Amazing panels on allogeneic hair transplants, nutrition and hair loss, complications, and scarring alopecias will challenge how you see hair restoration and change how you manage your patients. We have outstanding featured speakers including the microbiome and hair loss, managing FFA, etc.
- Extensively revised and expanded Coffee with the Experts. We have now 30 tables with a focus on business topics like how to improve your social media, develop a business plan, hire partners, how to develop a skin care product, etc. We also have the full gamut of beginner tables including “beginner’s corner” of how to start in hair surgery. We also have an exciting debate table, “Does body hair survive?” Finally, I have reproduced the entire program so that you will have time to ask your questions to the masters from the master classes, panelists, and keynote speakers if you didn’t have time to do so during the scientific sessions. Another reason you need to be there to make it to Berlin is so that you can participate in this amazing portion of the program!
- A full 3-day program! In the past, there have been programs that end around 2.5 days. I have created a jam-packed, full 3-day program that will leave you breathless. It’s not just quality but quantity! I haven’t even mentioned M & M, Live Patient Viewing, sessions on AI, etc.!
- Tours and Diversions. For you and your family, the ISHRS has planned various sightseeing opportunities to make their time and yours a fun-filled one that you won’t want to miss.
- Fun and Surprises! I can’t wait for you to partake of the exciting fun elements and take-home gifts that I have personally designed and had sponsorships to secure them. We have daily fun activities, experiences, and gifts that will set this meeting apart from any other meeting that you have attended. Another reason you need to be present in Berlin to experience it all!
All the best,
