Perfectly situated in the embassy district between Kurfürstendamm (the “Ku’damm,” one of the most famous avenues in Berlin) and Potsdamer Platz, InterContinental Berlin is surrounded by economic, political and cultural life. As one of Berlin’s most spacious hotels, the InterContinental Berlin offers 558 recently renovated accommodations spread across 12 floors.
Overlooking the famous, expansive Tiergarten park, InterContinental Berlin is a perfect base for exploring the city. The hotel neighbors the Berlin Zoo and Aquarium Berlin, both located in Tiergarten. It is a short walk to the iconic Brandenburg Gate and plentiful shopping, including Berlin’s famous department store KaDeWe (Kaufhaus des Westens). The iconic Berlin TV Tower and East Side Gallery, the longest open-air gallery in the world, are just a short drive away.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS AND RATES
It is important that you book your guest room in the ISHRS group block, otherwise the ISHRS does not get the credit towards the contracted obligation and your room is not protected under our group room block.
The following discounted group rates have been secured for the 2025 ISHRS 33rd World Congress at the InterContinental Berlin. The group rates are available for the dates of Wednesday, October 15 through Thursday, October 30, 2025, based on room availability. If you do not see your full desired dates available on the group reservation website, you may email the hotel at berha.reservations@ihg.com to check shoulder night availability.
The group rates include breakfast in the hotel restaurant as well as complimentary wifi in the guest rooms and throughout the hotel public space. All ISHRS meeting attendees will also have access to complimentary wifi in our meeting space.
ISHRS Group Rate
Run-of-house Classic Rooms: EUR €219 single/€244 double occupancy plus tax
*The standard room rate is run-of-house (ROH) for varying standard room types, which means the hotel assigns guests the best available room at the time of check-in. Therefore bedding type preference is based upon availability. When making a reservation online, you may request your bedding type (king or two twin beds) in the comments field and the hotel will do its best to accommodate you.
The hotel is also offering ISHRS group rates for the following upgraded room categories, based on room availability:
- Premium Room: EUR €279 single/€304 double occupancy plus tax
- Junior Suite: EUR €339 single/€364 double occupancy plus tax
- *Club Classic Room: EUR €344 single/€369 double occupancy plus tax
- *Club Premium Room: EUR €419 single/€444 double occupancy plus tax
*The Club InterContinental Lounge is located on the 14th floor of the East Tower with views across Berlin. It has a dedicated check-in area. Daily service includes a full buffet breakfast served 6:30AM-11:00AM, Afternoon Tea with canapes 2:00PM-5:00PM, Evening Reception with beverages and snacks 6:00PM-8:00PM, and snacks and refreshments are available throughout the day.
The VAT is included in the room rate but the 7.75% city tax will be added to the room rate. Taxes are subject to change. The hotel does not charge a resort fee or any other mandatory fees. Children 6 years of age or younger may stay in the parent’s or guardian’s room at no charge in the existing bedding.
Please make your reservation early as this is a limited room block. The group rates are available through September 18, 2025, or while room availability lasts.

Notes:
- If you have bedding type preference, please request king or two twins in the comments field in the registration process.
- If you require multiple guest rooms, each room must be reserved individually (you cannot book multiple rooms in one reservation).
- The hotel website will request your arrival time, which is a required field. If you do not know your arrival time, just give an estimate.

The InterContinental Berlin offers three distinct restaurants on property for your enjoyment. Wake up to a hearty breakfast buffet at L.A. Café (included in your ISHRS group rate). Gather with friends and colleagues for a cocktail, lunch, or dinner at the casual yet classy Marlene Bar & Restaurant, named after the iconic German actress Marlene Dietrich.
Experience the hotel’s Michelin starred restaurant, Hugo’s, which offers six or eight course tasting menus with optional wine pairing. Here you can enjoy amazing views of the city from the restaurant’s 14th floor dining room. At Hugo’s, exceptional craft meets authentic flavors in dishes created by Eberhard Lange, one of the country’s most inventive chefs. Hugo’s is open for dinner Wednesday through Saturday. The InterContinental Berlin offers a beautiful wellness oasis with their 1,000 m² spa which features a heated pool, whirlpool, sauna, modern fitness centre, multiple treatment rooms, and ample space to unwind and rejuvenate. Note: The fitness centre is included in your room rate but the hotel charges EUR €10 per person / day for the pool usage and EUR €20 per person / day for the sauna and pool usage.

HOTEL RESERVATION DEPOSIT/CANCELLATION POLICY
All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card (no charge will be posted to your card until you check into the hotel). You may cancel your reservation up to 7 days prior to your arrival date, by 6:00PM local time (GMT+2) on the day of cancellation, without charge. If you cancel after that time or no-show, you will be charged 90% of the guestroom rate for the entire stay.
Check-in time is 3:00PM and check-out time is 12:00PM.
